Throughout my
life, I have owned, trained and bred dogs. A proven
record In 2014, my wife and partner, Heather, came aboard full time! She is a life-long dog lover and has extensive knowledge of pure breeds, hybrids and their temperaments. Heather is often contacted by potential clients who are undecided about what breed would be best for them. She is happy to provide guidance as to what dog would be most suitable, based on someone's lifestyle, personal energy level and home environment. Back in 2004, Heather designed a potty training bell product, and in 2008, she successfully launched it to the masses. Due to time constraints, she is no longer able to make potty bells, however we are still huge advocates of that housebreaking method and we have continued to use bells in our program. Heather and I combine forces to shape your pet into the most well behaved and obedient canine citizen they can be! Heather's main focus is on what we call "domestication" - which includes housebreaking, cessation of nipping, chewing and other nuisance puppy behaviors in the home. Along with Heather, I work on domestication, as well as intensive obedience training, leash manners, behavioral issues, etc. We're a great team and we truly love working together! |
I
am pleased to introduce myself to you, my name is
Jeff Hill. After a 30-year career in International
Shipping of commodities in New York, I "retired" to
Palm Beach County, where I now reside. Upon my
arrival in Florida, I decided to pursue my passion
for training and caring for dogs. I
absolutely love what I do! Now, with over a decade
of experience, I find that most of my new clients
come to me word-of-mouth, which is such a fantastic
feeling!

dogs allowed me to consider this as a career. My
training experience and education developed over
many years by training my own dogs and friends' and
family's dogs, and by taking many independent
training courses and apprenticeships. I focus on the
dog's natural abilities and my training methods are
positive, reward and respect based. While I work with all
breeds and ages, I
specialize in puppy training from ages 2 months up
to 1 year. |
Our Philosophy Dog trainers are teachers – to both canines and humans. Although there are formal techniques we learn, no amount of training courses can instill the natural instinct, ability and patience needed to connect with a dog on an emotional level. Just like humans, every dog has its unique personality, intellect and aptitude for learning. Therefore, we don’t believe in cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all training programs! We feel the key to successfully training a dog is to first bond with each dog, earn its trust and determine its emotional and intellectual strengths. During this process we decipher which training methods the dog will best respond to, and then we customize our training program to suit that individual dog. This results in effective and expedited training! We are truly passionate about what we do and we put our hearts and souls into it! We’re always asked: “Do you get attached to the puppies and dogs you train?" The answer is YES! In fact we do get attached, but we wouldn’t want it any other way! Each and every puppy or dog that's come into our life has a place in our hearts and has given us such fond memories. We're also very fortunate that a large percentage of our training dogs continue to come to us for boarding! It's wonderful to have these beautiful animals in our lives forever! Once your dog is trained, it’s equally important for us to train you, the owner, and give you the tools you’ll need to reinforce your dog’s skills for the rest of his or her life. The reinforcement phase is ongoing and it’s normal for regressions and behavioral problems to occur from time to time. More often than not, problems can be solved merely over the phone. This is why we always make ourselves available to our clients by text, phone or email. If an issue arises, we sincerely want you to call us!! No question is ever a “dumb” one!
